Meta Integration: Impressions Metric Updated (November 2025)

Pressboard is announcing an important platform update to comply with a mandatory change in Meta's (Facebook/Instagram) API.

As you may be aware, Meta announced that they will be deprecating the Impressions metric, effective November 15th, 2025. This metric will be replaced by the Views metric across all API versions.

While the Impressions metric is still syncing, we anticipate its deprecation by Meta in the near future. To prepare for this change, we have successfully transitioned to syncing data for the new Views metrics, which offers comparable data. We strongly recommend that you begin using the Views metric in your reports.

The new metrics now available on the platform and recommended for inclusion in your reports are:

Note on Facebook Ads Sets: We have not received documentation regarding the inclusion of Views in the Facebook Ads Sets API, but the Pressboard product team is prepared to implement the change when necessary.

To ensure that the new views metrics are correctly displayed in your story reports, please follow the steps outlined below. Please note: You must have administrative rights to make these changes.
